    • PHIPA compliance applies only if a project involves Ontario personal health information (e.g., medical content creation for a healthcare client). Edgycat Media does not collect or store health records unless explicitly contracted for such projects.

While Thunder Bay has no unique data policies beyond PIPEDA, we adhere to:

  • City of Thunder Bay Public Records Bylaw (if handling municipal contracts).
    • For municipal contracts, EdgyCatMedia adheres to the City of Thunder Bay’s procurement and record-keeping bylaws, including secure handling of public-sector data.
  • Ontario’s Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA)for public-sector-related projects.

7. High-Risk Projects

  • For projects involving sensitive information, a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) may be required. Clients must request this in writing prior to sharing materials. All employees and subcontractors are required to sign NDA’s under these circumstances and adhere to requirements within.
