The Meaning Behind Our Symbol: The Canna Lily
The striking canna lily that anchors our brand’s visual identity was taken by Kai Lai, a gifted hobby photographer based in Hamilton, Ontario.
Known for his bold perspectives, Kai typically works in black and white—but this rare, vividly coloured shot of a canna lily stopped us mid-scroll.
We were designing our logo at the time, and when we saw it, we knew immediately that this image—with its fiery hues, dynamic composition, and almost sculptural elegance—was destined to become the heart of our brand.
Beyond its aesthetic power, the canna lily carries profound symbolism. It represents “confidence, creativity, and bold transformation” (The Flower Expert, n.d.), mirroring our commitment to innovation and growth. Native to tropical and subtropical regions yet adaptable to diverse environments, the canna lily embodies resilience—a quality we channel in our work.
We’re grateful to Kai for this serendipitous gift of imagery that continues to inspire our work every day. Like the canna lily, we believe in making an impact—vibrant, and rooted in purpose.
“Ideas into action” isn’t just our slogan—it’s how we operate.
We’re redefining the media landscape by proving creativity thrives when fairness, mentorship, and accessibility lead.
We envision a future where:
• Talent is nurtured, not gate-kept
• Budgets don’t limit quality or ethics
• Every voice has the tools to be heard
OUR ADAPTIVE APPROACH
Success starts with intentional planning. We’re passionate about helping communities thrive because your growth fuels ours.
Our multi-phased approach ensures your vision stays:
✓ Fresh – Evolving with your needs
✓ Visible – Optimized for every platform
✓ Uniquely Yours – No cookie-cutter solutions

First, We Do Good—Then We Make It Look Good
We start with work that matters to communities at large—the kind that creates on-the-ground impact. Then we make it visually unforgettable.
With us, you’ll always get:
✓ Straightforward collaboration
✓ Smart solutions with measurable results
✓ Complete transparency
You’ll never see:
✗ Bloated budgets
✗ Surprise fees
✗ Sugarcoated feedback
Just honest work that delivers—first on substance, then on style.

Inclusion in Action—Allyship is a Practice, Not a Label
Commitment to diversity and allyship aren’t just self-appointed buzzwords here—We know these claims are earned through action and it’s how we work every day.
We work on it daily by:
✓ Hiring with purpose
✓ Collaborating with accountability
✓ Amplifying stories with intention
This is a safe space. Not because we say so, but because we:
• Listen and learn first
• Create room for sidelined voices
• Stand beside you when it counts
Safe spaces don’t need to be silent; they can be bold, intentional, and unflinching. We offer no caveats. No performative gestures. Just unwavering support for every voice that needs to be heard.

Mentorship in Motion
As a Thunder Bay college professor, Edgycat owner, Robyn Saxberg bridges academia and action, offering career accelerators for exemplary students with:
- Paid, purposeful summer work
- Tailored projects designed to spotlight each student’s unique talents
- Real skill-building—Not just theoretical busywork
- A launchpad into the professional world with brilliant creators who are confident, seen, and ready.
No coffee runs, no “paying your dues”. Just fair pay for real work—because potential deserves investment, not exploitation.

Standing Outside the Static—No Trend-Chasing, Just Traction
The digital world’s noise isn’t just loud—it’s distorting what matters. We don’t turn up the volume; we change the frequency, filtering out hot takes, hollow buzzwords, and keyword-stuffed fluff.
We deliver:
✓ Precision SEO that drives action—not just clicks
✓ Storytelling that resonates—so your audience stops scrolling, listens, and stays.
✓ Strategies built for impact—not algorithms—because your mission isn’t a hashtag
No algorithmic pandering. No empty metrics. Just smart strategy that connects you with the right people—and gives them a reason to stand with you. We broadcast your signal—clean, strong, and impossible to ignore.

Amplifying Indigenous Voices
For a year, we worked exclusively with Thunder Bay’s Elizabeth Fry Society, serving marginalized women and gender-diverse people—almost 80% of whom are Indigenous. Their programs weave cultural healing practices into harm reduction, housing support, and beyond.
This partnership taught us about the importance of authentic visual storytelling that strengthens Indigenous-led organizations and we’re committed to:
- Elevating Indigenous narratives through powerful digital media
- Collaborating directly with knowledge-keepers, educators, and experts to ensure cultural integrity in every project.
We’re grateful to our Indigenous partners for allowing us to honour the Anishinaabe and Métis people of Treaty #3 territory through this work.
