Thunder Bay, ON – The Consortium Aurora Borealis celebrated Mozart & Beethoven in their season finale and unveiled their 2025/26 lineup. Their 46th season closed with String Quintets: Mozart & Beethoven, a concert highlighting the viola’s rich voice in chamber music. The performance took place on May 9, 2025, at St. Paul’s United Church, featuring Mozart’s String Quintet No. 4 in G minor, K. 516 and Beethoven’s String Quintet in C major, Op. 29 (“The Storm”).
